Description
This small stainless-steel surface mix bench-burner is designed for the artistic lampworker. Features easy tilt positioning. Precision needle valves to regulate the fuel and oxygen flow. Uses propane, natural gas or hydrogen. The burner comes on a heavy base with mounting holes. The burner can be removed from the stand and used as a hand torch. Recommended operating pressures: .25 to 5 PSI of gas, 5 to 15 PSI of oxygen. Use for soft or hard glass. (Requires hose #40513)
Hard glass (Borosilicate) has a higher melting temperature than soft glass. It has a shorter working time. These larger torches that produce more heat are appropriate for hard glass lampworking.
