Wissmach’s Luminescent coating is similar to the familiar iridescent coating, but not quite the same. You can achieve different effects when firing with the coated side up or down and is ideal for reversed fusing projects/sculptures.

*Important Firing Tips:
• Coated side down onto a kiln wash dusted fiber shelf and the coating will intensify.
• Coated side down onto a kiln washed shelf or shelf paper and the coating will look intense yet different from the above bullet point
• Coated side up and the coating will stay on darker colors if firing no higher than 1410°F; Will fade away on lighter colors giving the glass abeautiful sheen
• Cover the coated side with a piece of clear and the coating will fade completely away.
